Strategic Research Block

Grant research (sometimes called prospecting) is one of the most time-consuming parts of your sustained grant campaign. Kickstart your work by having Grants 4 Animals do the research for you!

With our Strategic Research Block, you'll get the following:

• An intake questionnaire so we can learn more about your nonprofit and find the best possible grants. 
• A comprehensive research block conducted by the Grants 4 Animals Team using multiple paid databases and web research.
• A research sheet (Google Sheets/MS Excel formats) specific to your organization with all the findings, ranked by priority. We are currently averaging 30+ prospects delivered to clients per Research Block.
• A video or screenshare walkthrough of your grant research results and research sheet. 
• Email, phone call, or Zoom support after the research block to discuss findings, recommendations, and questions (average 30 minutes).  

Value: 

• This service uses multiple paid databases. Subscribing to these databases for one user, one year, would cost over $1900.
• Contracted grant writers and researchers have hourly rates ranging from $40 to $150 (sometimes more). This is a multi-hour research block with follow-ups, making it an incredible value for the price.
• Many of the grants recommended will be $5,000-$50,000 (depending on your size, mission, and programming). Earning just ONE grant as a result of this research block will pay for this service.  
• This is NOT generic research or database scraping. This is intentional research conducted by our staff for your specific nonprofit based on your answers to the intake form.

How it Works: 

1. You purchase the offer.

2. You or someone from your organization completes a Google Form intake questionnaire (sent via email after purchase).

2. Grants 4 Animals will contact you with any follow-up questions from your form and give you a timeline for the research (usually 14-21 days so we can explore all possible opportunities in depth). 

3. We will reach out with any questions as we complete your research block. 

4. Once the research is complete, you can choose to receive a video with the results, have a phone call, or schedule a Zoom meeting. 

5. You will receive a customized spreadsheet and narrative recommendations for grants over the next 12 months. The ownership of this document will be transferred to someone in your organization.
